The product has been designed with built in red indicators to show you how close you are to wearing down the ferrule. This will save you from a bruised behind and save you from a fall. We looked at the rubber and after doing trials with different types of rubber we decided on a Thermoplastic Rubber, this is a very hard wearing and long lasting type of rubber.
