Apply the antiseptic (Betadine Antiseptic Cream or Betadine Antiseptic Dry Powder Spray) around the wound and on the wound to prevent infection. Cleanse the affected area with an antiseptic such as Betadine PVP-I Antiseptic Liquid (Contains Povidone-Iodine 10% w/v).
