The rungs are made from sturdy white acrylic with a wipe-clean surface. The cords are strong white woven acrylic. The rope ladder hoist can be used on single and double beds that have legs. The intended use is to compensate for a disability by helping a person rise to a sitting position from a lying position (usually in bed).
