I bought this to help me sit up after a recent operation. 8 only needed to use it for two weeks. it has excellent online reviews but some mention how noisy it is. I would say it is a similar noise to a vacuum cleaner and only whilst inflating. maybe that is annoying at 3am if you share a bed. I chose to evict my husband from my bed for a few weeks.
