It is not indicated if the person does not have good body control in sedestation. These devices have no specific indications and there are multiple reasons why their use is necessary.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Choosing the right size is a fundamental aspect to obtain the desired therapeutic efficacy and to ensure its service life. We will place the belt over the abdominal area of the patient. Pass the ends through the back of the chair or armchair and hook the clip closure. Finally fix the degree of compression that we want to get on the patient's abdomen by tightening the belt. Put the belt over a T-shirt or cape to prevent chafing.
Ensure at the end of the range of mobility that the patient wants to be allowed and the correct fixation of all the elements. Excessive compression can lead to intolerance to the device or injury, so it is important to properly regulate the degree of compression of the belt. In any doubt or problem the review or supervision of a healthcare professional or orthopedic technician is recommended.
WASHING AND CONSERVATION RECOMMENDATIONS: Hand or machine wash with neutral soap at a temperature of approximately 300. Drain the device well and help remove moisture with a dry towel. Leave to dry at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources for drying (radiator, dryer, sun…) Do not use bleach or abrasive products.
Tumble dry on delicate cycle. Do not iron. If the product is not well drained, product residues can irritate the skin or damage the device. Before use, check the status of the device hitches.
