I had been searching for stomach support for my parastomal hernia for what felt like an eternity, scouring every source I could find, from stoma nurses to online forums. The various products I tried seemed to offer varying levels of comfort and support, but none quite hit the mark. That was until I stumbled upon the Armstrong America Umbilical Hernia Belt in a local store. Upon reading through the reviews, I thought it sounded like it might be just what I needed - something that would provide the right amount of support without feeling too constricting.

I decided to take a chance and ordered one, and was thrilled when it arrived on my doorstep next day with Prime shipping. As soon as I put it on, however, I felt a pang of discomfort, which seemed to be caused by the tightness of the belt around my midriff again after not wearing it for so long. But as I adjusted the velcro and started rubbing the area gently to get used to the feeling, I was surprised to find that it actually started to feel incredibly comfortable.

I decided to give it a test run and put it on for just one hour, but what happened next shocked me - hours flew by (13 hours, in fact) without any of the discomfort or fatigue I had anticipated. I was amazed at how quickly the belt had taken hold and made me feel like I could wear it all day, every day.

The next morning, I ordered another one in a different colour, which arrived on schedule with Prime service. And then, just yesterday (27 August 2025), I ordered a third - this time in a special edition design that I thought would be perfect for my unique situation. The fit is still a bit of an adjustment, and I have to admit that it takes me some getting used to having the support around my midsection again. But overall, I'm utterly thrilled with how comfortable and supportive it has been - and I highly recommend it to anyone who's been struggling with stomach support for their own reasons.

This hernia belt has been a lifesaver from day one, saving me from some pretty embarrassing situations. Its durability and comfort have made an already simple accessory into a staple in my daily routine.

I've worn mine for over two months now, during which time the Velcro on each strap has begun to fray. Despite this, I found myself purchasing another similar belt, as it's proven to be so reliable.
