I've tried this shower board system first with my mobility issues before installing a wet-room or walk-in shower, and I was pleasantly surprised. The idea of using a transfer board to get into the bath resonated with me - it seems like it would be quite effective. This particular design makes it easy for people to stand on the end of the board while sliding their bottom across the surface until they're almost halfway in; then lifting their legs over the edge and placing their feet on a non-slip shower mat is straightforward enough.

The only issue with this design, however, is that you can't get past a shower curtain or screen inside the bath - which means I had to be extra careful not to splash water onto the floor when getting in or out. On the plus side, this made it much safer for me to use the bathroom without worrying about slipping or falling over.

The product has proven itself to be a great value for money. I've been impressed with its extremely sturdy build and how well it adjusts to fit my tub.

Its tough material is robust, withstanding even the most intense use when sitting on it - I'm 70k and have had mine for a while now testing its durability.

I must note that one of the drawbacks is the potential risk of wear and tear if you're not careful. Adjusting the screw to fit your tub can be a challenge, and spinning around for ages may take a toll on its lifespan.
