He was able to shower together with a waterproof leg cover, keeping himself clean and comfortable during this difficult period. With the full leg cast for eight weeks, he had limited mobility but found ways to maintain his hygiene. He was eventually moved to a half-leg cast, which allowed him to continue using the shower board and enjoy some rest in the bath while allowing his plaster to stay on intact.
