Wash hands with soap and rinse with warm water;
Please bring the bag to room temperature before opening. Open the foil bag and take out the box. Carefully pull out and dispose of the needle cap. Use the included alcohol pad to clean the tip of the middle or ring finger as the site of the puncture. Press the hand on the side from which the cap was pulled out against the tip of your finger (ring finger is recommended). The tip retracts automatically and safely after use;
Keeping your hand down massage the end that has been pointed to get a drop of blood. Put the capillary dropper bulb in contact with the blood, without squeezing the bulb. Blood will migrate into the capillary dropper to the line indicated. If the line is not reached, you can massage your finger again to get more blood. Avoid air bubbles. Pour the collected blood into the sampling well of the cassette, pressing the dropper bulb. Wait until the blood is fully delivered to the well. Unscrew the cap of the buffer bottle and add 2 drops of buffer to the sample pit of the cassette;
Wait for the color lines to appear. Read the result at 10 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
READING RESULTS: POSITIVE - Two colored lines are displayed. Both T (test) and C (control) lines are displayed. This result means that the TSH level is higher than normal (5 mcIU/mL) and that a doctor should be consulted. NEGATIVE: A colored line is displayed. Only the control line (C) is displayed. This result means that the TSH level is not within the range of values that determine hypothyroidism. INVALID - Control line is not displayed.
Storage: Store in a dry place at 2-30°C (36-86°F), avoiding areas with excessive moisture. Do not freeze. The test is stable until the expiry date printed on the sealed bag. The test must remain in the sealed bag until use. Do not use beyond the expiry date.
