This listing is for a set of vented and unvented chest dressings The vented allows the exit of air from a potential chest trauma that allows air to escape but not reenter , so allowing a pneumothorax to equalise. The unvented allows the bleed control on the chest in the event of single non pneumothorax, or in addition if there are multiple injuries, to ‘plug’ the holes allowing the vented system to work correctly.
