Pregnanediol Glucuronide (PdG): It is a urine metabolite of progesterone that is released from the ovaries after ovulation. PdG is typically used to confirm ovulation and stimulate the uterus in preparation for pregnancy.
How PdG Tests Can Help You: Normally, PdG will increase and reach its peak (above 5ug/ml) around 5 days after ovulation. Not only confirm that you ovulated, but also to monitor your PdG levels after ovulation, during what’s called the implantation window.
How to Use this PdG Test Strips: Using the first morining urine is important. Dip the strip into the sample until dye rises up, at least 15 seconds. Read the result in 5-10mintes.Two lines mean the PdG level is lower than 5ug/mL. One line means the lever is higher than 5ug/mL.
When to test PdG: Before you first use the PdG test, test with one strip the day after the period ends. The result is expected to be negative. Then Test with the Wondfo progesterone urine test on 5,6,7,8,9 days after your peak fertility date.
